Job Title:                        MIS Assistant

Reporting to:                  Program Coordinator

Project Title:                  Growth for Rural Advancement and Sustainable Progress (GRASP).

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor/Masters from the HEC recognized universities in Computer Science, Diploma in Computer or similar disciplines.
  • At least 03 years’ experience of working in MIS position with the reputed National, international organizations.

 

2. Knowledge, Skills & Behavior

  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Good resource and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with various personal computer software applications.
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office, MIS required.
  • Experience working within complex organizational structures

 

3. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for MIS operations
  • Manage, maintain and update the programme MIS
  • Coordinate and assist the programme team and other relevant staff members in regular 
  • data updating on GRASP MIS
  • Update the MIS according to the needs of programme reporting
  • Maintain and update database as per changing requirements;
  • Assist with troubleshooting any problems faced by any user of MI;
  • Maintain close liaison with PPAF IT/MIS section and Programme MIS Officer on overall MIS related matters.

  • Records data by operating data entry equipment, coding information, resolving processing problems.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
  • Check source documents for accuracy
  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files and forms
  • Transcribe information into required electronic format
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Collect, compile data, maintain MIS and generate report as per approved protocols and time framework and share with partner and other stakeholders as per organizational policy.
  • Any other task assigned by Supervisor.
