Terms of References for Position of Finance & Admin Officer


Job Title:                                 Finance & Admin Officer

Working Station:                   District Tharparkar

Reporting to:                          Head of Finance



  1. Mandatory (Qualifications and Experience)
    1. Masters / Bachelors or equivalent degree (M.B.A /B.B.A) or relevant field from a  recognized university
  2. At least 2 years of relevant experience.


  1. Main Responsibilities
  2. Ensure proper accounting, book keeping and financial management of the Programme
  3. Prepare and verify vouchers, i.e Cash Payment, Bank Payment, Journal Voucher, Bank Receipt and prepare bank reconciliation statements.
  4. Post vouchers and closing accounts, prepare cheque, handing over cheque to the payees against proper acknowledgement.
  5. Deposit tax deduction from various suppliers and service providers in government treasury as per rules and regulations.
  6. Ensure the smooth flow of funds to districts and conduct regular review of the financial progress of districts.
  7. Ensure that day-to-day Finance and Administrative operations of the project are carried out in an efficient manner;
  8. Keep all financial and administrative records properly maintained and documented
  9. Prepare and maintain all salary records in a transparent manner
  10. Provide logistical support in organizing meetings, workshops, training events, and field visits;

2.10 Ensure proper maintenance and management of all project assets including vehicles, machines    and all equipment.

2.11. Monitor maintenance of the office equipment ensuring timely repairs when required.

2.12. Maintain and update the documentation related to finances, administration and procurement.

2.13. Perform any other official task assigned by the Supervisor.
