Job Title:                               Project Coordinator

Reporting to:                         Manager/Head Capacity Building

 

Position Requirements

  1. Qualification and Experience

 

Master or equal to master preferably in Social Sciences.

  • At least 7 years’ experience in development sector/humanitarian organizations with at least 2 years’ working experience in management position at district or region level.
  • Preference will be given to women candidates who have previous experience of leading diversified teams and working in close collaboration of partner organizations (preferably INGO) at district/regional level. Demonstrated experience of working with other stakeholders will be considered as an additional advantage.
  • Below 50 Years

 

Job Purpose

 

Project Coordinator will be responsible for overall project management in project area, and manage implementation of the project effectively as per approved project design given in the CSOs Building Resilience through Improved Delivery, Governance and Empowerment Program (The CSO’s-BRIDGE Program) document, and in line with project agreement signed by TRDP and the partner organization.

 

  1. Main Responsibilities

With guidance and support of TRDP Manager/Head Capacity Building, the project coordinator will undertake following responsibilities. While undertaking the following responsibilities s/he will be closely coordinating with TRDP core team including finance, internal audit, administration and security and human resources sections.

  • The person will be responsible for developing implementation plan, and ensuring implementation as per given timelines with compliance of procedures and maintaining quality as per approved standards.
  • Effective coordination with the relevant stakeholders ensuring their support and inclusion in implementation process and intended outcomes.
  • Lead the team in the process of planning, motivating them to ensure all agreed activities and targets are fulfilled.
  • Provide facilitation and support to field team in a way that they can keep momentum of the project activities particularly in the challenging time of COVID pandemic for effective implementation of the project.
  • Ensure effective communication, feedback and redressals mechanism are in place with reference to national and provincial youth policies, using MIS and involving CSOs in the process.
  • Ensure capacity building of local partners on COVID response and ways and means to mitigate social and economic effects of COVID pandemic on communities,
  • Support to core team in preparation of fund allocation, budget projections, annual development plans, Gender development plan and board meetings for getting proper approvals.
  • Ensure participation in review meetings with partner organization, relevant government departments and other relevant stakeholders as and when required.
  • Participation in the procurement, tendering, accounting, costing and billing of the project interventions as per policy and procedures.
  • Conduct field visit to monitor field activities and guide the field teams for smooth execution in order to achieve the desirable results and outcomes.
  • Keep close watch on problems, issues, constraints, delays and conditions affecting smooth implementation of planned activities
  • Quality assurance of training / capacity building portfolio as per terms of references agreed with donor.
  • Review training manuals, participant`s hand book and IEC material developed by consultants and get necessary approvals.
  • Prepare detailed work plan of capacity building and ensure its proper implementation within given timelines.
  • Any other task assigned by the Supervisor.
