5.   Qualification:

Master degree in social sciences from any recognized university or equal qualification with education of at least 16 years.

 

Preference will be given to woman candidate with i) excellent writing and presentation skills particularly in English, ii) excellent negotiation and communication skills and iii) capacity to review, edit and summarize complex documents / manuals and material managing challenging timelines.

6  Experience:

At least five years working experience in rural development preferably in rural area of Sindh.

7  Age:

Below 50 years

8  Salary package:

PKR 88,000 per month inclusive all

9  Purpose of Job

Coordinator capacity building will be responsible to revitalize and build capacities of community institutions in order to empower them to participate in programme activities particularly those to be undertaken under National Poverty Graduation Programme with a special focus on women’s empowerment.

10  Responsibilities

10.1 General responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with and reporting to donor on capacity building theme.
  • Quality assurance of training / capacity building portfolio as per terms of references agreed with donor.
  • Review training manuals, participant`s hand book and IEC material developed by consultants and get necessary approvals.
  • Prepare detailed work plan of capacity building and ensure its proper implementation within given timelines.
  • Manage managerial, financial and vocational trainings under NPGP.
  • Find out and establish market linkages with credential institutions for mainstreaming community resource persons and their enterprises.

          10.2 Specific responsibilities:

            Manage consultants / firms involved in:

  • Social Sector: Training of Trainers for Community Resource Persons to enhance their knowledge and skills in the areas of primary health care & nutrition.
  • Economic Sector: Training of Trainers for Community Resource Persons to develop their knowledge and skills in the areas of Asset/Basic Business Management, Functional and Financial Literacy.
  • Training of Trainers for Community Resource Persons to develop their knowledge and skills in the areas of Climate Change Adaption/Resilience, Community based disaster risk management and School based disaster risk management.
  • Training of Trainers for Community Resource Persons to develop their knowledge and skills in the areas of Social Mobilization and strengthening of Community Institutions.
  • Training of Trainers for Community Resource Persons to develop their knowledge and skills in the areas of Gender/ Gender Action Learning Systems (GALS).
  • Training of Trainers for Community Resource Persons to develop their knowledge and skills in the areas of Natural Resource Management.
  • Training of Trainers for Community Resource Persons to develop their knowledge and skills in the areas of Technical & Vocational training.
  1. Integration and coordination

 

  • Assess and analyze the needs at organization and programme level and develop/design training module for community and TRDP team.
  • Strengthen systems and procedures in order to ensure proper compliances of TRDP policies and policies agreed with donors.
  • Collection and preparation of relevant documents to design and improve training material.
  • Support and coordinate with managers of TRDP thematic areas in order to ensure integration and team work.
  • Coordinate with potential partners and build new partnerships supporting / strengthening to capacity building process of TRDP team and communities.

 

  1. Pogramme Development
  • Develop, design and organize technical and managerial training for the community & other stakeholders, in particular the village volunteers and evolve a framework for their follow up and post training utilization.
  • Develop/promote integration between the programme & projects in the context of TRDP objectives and strategy.
  • Develop/promote networking with active participation in the national networks of civil society organizations.
  • Incorporating / inducting TRDP strategy / experience / model of rural development into a broader setup of civil society and government structure.
  • Develop/promote means and resources for financial sustainability of TRDP

 

 

This role requires extensive traveling in the rural areas of Sindh, with long working hours.
