Job Title:                      Social Organizer

Working Station:        District Khairpur Mirs

Reporting to:              Project Manager        


Position Requirements:

  1. Mandatory (Qualification and Experience)
  2. Masters/Graduate from HEC recognized University.
  3. Minimum of 03 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably within the NGOs.


  1. Main Responsibilities
    • Participates in need assessments, Participatory Rural Appraisals, feasibility studies, stakeholder analyses, and community consultations.
    • Elaborate on needs-based inputs and all other activities according to the objectives of the programme and the beneficiary involvement strategy of TRDP.
    • Mobilizes the community in the effective use of community resources.
    •  He/she should develop in-depth knowledge of all their villages of intervention and should have close contacts with community leaders, volunteers, and activists. Support and supervise daily skilled and unskilled workers/project volunteers and give them useful instruction regarding their work improvement, through coordination with the relevant skilled staff;
    • To mobilize and gather community and introduce project activities
    • To organize and give prior information on all activities at the field level.
    • To ensure Participation of the community in age groups
    • Close coordination with Community Institutes.
    • Undertake field visits to the target population for humanitarian assistance to the flood-affected area as per project criteria.
    • Identification flood affected beneficiaries as per project design.
    • To maintain documentation.
    • To prepare progress reports on a bi-weekly basis with Project Manager/.
    • Ensure compliance and rules under the project agreement.
    • To ensure the organization’s visibility.
    • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/ Management.
