Job Title: Gender-Based Violence Information Management System (GBV IMS)

Working Station:        District Khairpur Mirs

Reporting to:              Project Manager        

 

Position Requirements:

  1. Mandatory (Qualification and Experience)
  2. Masters or equivalent (minimum 14 years education) in Information Technology, Database Management, Social Work or Social Administration, Development Studies, Knowledge Management and other related areas.
  3. Minimum of 02 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably within the NGOs.

 

  1. Main Responsibilities
    • Maintain database on daily basis in excel, MIS, or any other platform.
    • Directly oversee all GBV data collection and management with the support and supervision of the GBV Officer.
    • Ensure forms, databases, record keeping are in line with standards of working on GBVIMS and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality.
    • Ensure data received from the field teams are correctly entered into the program trackers on a regular weekly basis - gather, consolidate, clarify errors and clear the program data.
    • Plan, coordinate and implement database security measures to safeguard information in client computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
    • Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and also participate in the design and implementation of the M&E plans for the WPE program.
    • Data entry as required.
    • Any other project-related task assigned by the supervisor.
    • Submit monthly program data and indicator tracking reports and analysis to the WPE Coordinator, in-line with safety and ethical standards.
    • Compile, edit, and write monthly and quarterly WPE quantitative program reports using assigned template, including collating reports from field staff and producing final information product.
    • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/ Management.

 

  1. Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour
    • Accurate and speedy data entry and strong computer literacy.
    • Able and willing to work in environment with limited access to basics.
    • Advanced knowledge of data entry, Microsoft i.e., MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and Internet.
    • Familiar with work related to Gender Based Violence
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, coordination and monitoring skills.
    • Must be a team player and has experience of supporting diverse field team/s
    • Multi-tasking and ability to manage competing priorities
    • Ability to acquire and maintain clear and concise records
    • Result based demonstrable capacity.
