Job Description

        Job Title:       Short-term assignment as Facilitator for Safe Space 

Working Station:        District Shaheed Benazirabad

Reporting to:              Project Coordinator

Project title:               Child Protection Flood Emergency Response Sindh

 

Position Requirements:

  1. Mandatory (Qualification and Experience)
  2. Masters or equivalent (minimum 14 years’ education) Degree from the HEC recognized National University.
  3. At least 03 years of experience in a related position with reputed National, and international organizations,

 

  1. Main Responsibilities
    • Responsible for Establishing Safe Statics Spaces in communities/villages –TLCS
    • S/he should promote fair play, collaboration, and critical thinking.
    • S/he is finally responsible for the supervision of the space in which he/she performs his/her duties during working hours
    • Responsible for data collection & keep all required data of Spaces and children
    • Responsible for daily basis, weekly & monthly report to project coordinator
    • The CFS Facilitator provides educational activities and creative engagement of children beneficiaries.
    • Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the Child Friendly Space
    • Ensure a variety of games and activities within the Child Friendly Space, catering to the needs of children of different ages, genders, and abilities
    • Ensure that children feel comfortable, safe, and respected
    • Liaise with parents and the community regularly to keep them informed of any developments or problems within the Child Friendly Space and surrounding areas
    • Screen for and monitor protection needs and gaps in and around the Child Friendly Space
    • Ensure activities consistent with programme guidelines
    • Create a vibrant atmosphere
    • Responsible for coordination/liaison with communities to enroll their children in school, who were already admitted in the school before flood to ensure the continuity of their education.
    • Responsible for quality and continuity of SAFE SPACEs through regular field visits.
    • To maintain documentation, and submit of daily, weekly and monthly updates about SAFE SPACEs, student’s attendance, teacher training and attendance and community meeting.
    • To ensure the organization visibility.
    • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/ Management.
