Job Description

                      Job Title:       Project Officer 

Working Station:       District Badin & Dadu

Reporting to:              Project Manager

Services required       for assignment/project “Flood Response in Sindh 2022”, or any other assignment, as and when given by TRDP.

Position Requirements:

  1. Mandatory (Qualification and Experience)
  2. Masters or equivalent degree from HEC recognized university.
  3. Minimum of 03 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably within the NGOs.

 

  1. Main Responsibilities
    • Maintain files, documents, and data and ensure their confidentiality
    • Reviews and reports on the overall effectiveness of each programme area
    • Responsible for the management of field teams and Projects.
    • To ensure the field teams are provided with all required resources (financial, technical, and human resources) to achieve the targets.
    • Responsible to provide a temporary protective space, where program interventions can be offered.
    • To ensure space will be used as an entry point for access to specialized health and GBV services, psychosocial services including referrals to different needed services, and case management.
    • Responsible to establish tents where affected populations are located.
    • Ensure that day-to-day Finance and Administrative operations of the project are carried out in an efficient manner.
    • Keep all financial, procurement, and administrative records properly maintained and documented.
    • Provide logistical support in organizing meetings, workshops, training events, and field visits.
    • To ensure proper maintenance and management of all project assets including vehicles, machines, office building, and all equipment.
    • Ensure efficient, effective, responsive, transparent, and accountable provision of administrative and logistics services to support the implementation of project activities.
    • Makes travel arrangements for staff and arranges accommodation on a need/request basis.
    • Maintain attendance/timesheet and an updated list of staff, ensuring effective record keeping.
    • Arrange payment of utility bills and maintain a track record of all these payments.
    • Carry out local procurement (for project and office supplies) through procurement policy and process with proper documentation.
    • Maintain a good working relationship with the staff members and suppliers/ vendors.
    • Responsible for making arrangements for visits of officials from donor, government, and stakeholder.
    • Frequent visits to TRDP Head Office Mithi.
    • To ensure the organization’s visibility.
    • Any other relevant tasks assigned by management.
