Job Description

                     Job Title:       Data Entry Officer

Working Station:       District Badin & Dadu

Reporting to:              Project Manager

Services required       for assignment/project “Flood Response in Sindh 2022”, or any other assignment, as and when given by TRDP.

Position Requirements:

 

  1. Mandatory (Qualification and Experience)

 

  1. BS, equivalent, Diploma in Computer Science, or Diploma in IT or in relevant field from a HEC recognised University/Institutes.
  2. Minimum of 02 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably within the NGOs.

 

  1. Main Responsibilities
    • Maintain database on daily basis in excel, MIS, or any other platform.
    • Share detailed and summarized reports on a daily, and weekly basis as per the donor requirement
    • In consultation with MEAL officer, develop reporting formats.
    • Data Entry/update regularly and updated information is provided to the management as and when required.
    • Ensure that the data is recorded and reported correctly in the prescribed formats and is submitted timely
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
    • Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry.
    • Validate the data reported by the field staff
    • Scan documents into document management systems or databases.
    • Timely update data management tools for the project
    • Generate monthly and as-required reports from the database/MIS
    • Provide day-to-day guidance to field staff for quality data management and point out the gaps to concerned data collector and inform the management.
    • Provide technical support to the project staff in quality data management
    • Conduct periodic data quality audits and other related assessments/reviews in coordination.
    • Keep track record of the beneficiaries identified, grants received or rejected.
    • Prepare graphic presentations for internal and external meetings
    • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/ Management.

    • Experience in working with GIS / MIS based applications.
    • Skills in managing and maintaining databases and backups
    • Good knowledge of MS, Excel & word packages.
    • Knowledge of development issues & concepts

    • Analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure often to strict deadlines.
