                     Job Title:         Hygiene Promoter

Working Station:        Mirpur Khas

Reporting to:              Project Coordinator

Project title:               Integrated multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance to flood-affected communities in Pakistan.

 

Position Requirements:

1. Mandatory (Qualification and Experience)
2. Graduate from HEC recognized University
3. Minimum of 02 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position, preferably within the NGOs.

 

1. Main Responsibilities
   • Hygiene Promotor will improve hygiene behaviors and encourage community management of water and sanitation facilities.
   • Rapid need assessment of the flood-affected people in the project area, submit the duly filled and rechecked forms at the end of the day.
   • Insure the data entry in excel for the need assessment.
   • To conduct hygiene promotion sessions on waterborne diseases and Health & Hygiene for the beneficiaries of the project.
   • Will be responsible to educate flood affected about the use of hygiene kits and Dignity Kits.
   • Will be responsible to improve the hygienic conditions of the project area through community sensitization
   • Deliver hygiene promotion sessions, through IEC materials on different key messages.
   • To conduct hygiene promotion sessions as per project design.
   • Ensure compliance and rules under the project agreement.
   • Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/ Management.
