Job Title:                     Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant

Working Station:        District Jamshoro/Dadu

Reporting line:           Project Manager

 

Position Requirements

1. Mandatory (Qualification and Experience)

  1.         Education: Masters or equivalent degree in Social Sciences, Rural Development or other relevant disciplines from a recognized university.
  2.         Experience: Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation of development projects and programs.   

 

2. Main Duties and Responsibilities

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Assistant will be responsible for monitoring of project activities and recommend remedial measures for improvement in programme implementation. Main duties and responsibilities include:

 

  1. Provide inputs for finalization of all formats, quality assurance tools and protocols to be used for monitoring of programme activities.
  2. Undertake regular monitoring visits to target districts for monitoring of the programme activities, identify gaps in implementation and quality and provide feedback to partner RSPs and field team for improvement in implementation.
  3. Validation of data shared by district teams and share findings of validation with district staff, project manager and senior management of RSPs for corrective measures.
  4. Provide input for baseline and evaluation of the pilot innovations proposed under the programme.
  5. Support M&E Coordinator for effective management of third party for baseline, midterm and end line assessment of the programme.
  6. Documentation of key lessons learned and share with management for reinforcement of best practices in programme implementation and quality improvement.
  7. Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Management.

 

3. Knowledge, skills & behavior

  1. Strong writing, analytical and data management skills Fluency in local languages especially in Sindhi in must.
  2. Willingness to travel frequently.
  3. Strong communication skills
  4. Experience working within complex matrix based organizational structures
