Terms of References for Position of Community Health Supervisor

 

Location:             Target District

Qualification:      Master Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent qualification from recognized university

Experience:         At least one-year experience in social mobilization under health projects preferably Nutrition Project

Reporting Line:  District Manager

Job Description:

• Provide support to project team for mapping of LHWs covered and un-covered areas
• Conduct dialogues with VOs and LSOs for selection of CHWs from non LHWs covered areas. Ensure that CHWs are selected as per approved criteria
• Organize training of CHWs by using the training curriculum and material provided by RSPN/ACF
• On job coaching and supportive supervision of the CHWs to ensure that they perform their tasks as per their terms of references
• Responsible for organizing Community level behavior change activities, Screening, Referrals and Supplementation.
• By using platform of community institutions (COs/VOs/LSOs) fostered under SUCCESS program organize meetings with mothers and fathers
