Job Title:                               Field Engineer

Working station:                    Units of Dadu

Reporting to:                          District Engineer

 

Position Requirements

 

  1. Mandatory (Qualification and Experience)
    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
    2. Minimum 01-Year work experience with NGOs/INGOs. Experience in construction related project.
    3. PEC Registration is obligatory.

 

  1. Main Responsibilities
  2. Filed Engineer will facilitate to community for prioritize needs of CPI projects in Village Development Plan and Union council development Plan at field level.
  3. Filed Engineer will visit the Community institute (CI) and proposed project site and do a survey pre-feasibility assessment.
  4. Filed Engineer will do social appraisal for project recommended in prefeasibility stage.
  5. Filed Engineer will execute and monitoring of CPI project completely at field level regularly.
  6. He should be skilled at managing technical work of CPI projects at field level individually. Even with little supervision.
  7. Filed Engineer will maintain record of CPI project at Field Unit level.  Like keep record of disbursement of CPI schemes installments and maintain complete file of CPI schemes.
  8. Assist to district engineer in preparation of detailed BOQ, drawings of CPI projects and finalization of schemes agreements with Cos/ VOs/ line agencies.
  9. Engineer will be responsible to prepare monthly work plan /weekly reports of CPI schemes and submit to District Engineer and CPI coordinator regularly
  10. Filed Engineer do any other task assign by Coordinator CPI time to time as per project need.

  2. Good written and verbal communication.
  3. Good resource and time management skills. 
  4. Sound knowledge and expertise on AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Power point, MIS, required.
  5. Maintain good communication with beneficiaries and other stakeholders on the field
  6. Willingness to travel frequently.
